- Characterization of persistent algal blooms (Malaysia), followed by remediation experiments conducted in the laboratory of University of Tsukuba, Japan.
- Mathematical simulation to generate continuous model from batch experiments using oxygen productive electrode (OPE) (Advanced Oxidation Technology, AOT) as pre-treatment technology at water treatment plants.
- Published 3 papers & delivered 11 presentations
(6 international, 5 local: 6 oral & 5 posters).

- A cross-sectional study on pesticide contamination comparing water at source and point of use, its association with pesticide use and rainfall.
- The findings are to propose preventive measures to Ministry of Health (MOH) and various agencies.

- Determination/study of biochemical constituents in local honey against foreign honey - to develop Malaysian standard for biochemical constituents of honey
